Learning from Experience. 35 years ago I started WHY® Design, with a specialty in Toys, Sporting Goods and Consumer Electronics. With Magna Bike a $4M bike company as my main design account my task was to take out the competition one-by-one...and we did. No marketing team, no research and development reports, no focus groups,, but we did it through mere instinct, commonsense, vision and gut. 8 years later Magna grew to 140M taking over the bike industry by storm. Those were then early days.
